Star has obtained the Lift Directive 95/16/EC, Attachment XIII H Module and TS-EN-ISO 9001:2000 Certificates from LIFTINSTITUUT.
Star s Lift Quality has been certified by LIFTINSTITUUT.
Star which has obtained the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certificate in 2003, has also completed the preparation period for the certification of Lift Directive 95/16/EC, Attachment XIII, H Module as the result of its 6 months of study and has obtained the Lift Directive 95/16/EC, Attachment XIII, H Module and TS-EN-ISO 1999:2000 Certificates as the result of audition by LIFTINSTITUUT between 16-19 February 2004.
In our studies in order to use the CE conformity mark, we have met Mr. Ulvi KADAKAL who is the Manager of Eastern Europe Region. In our second meeting, we have made a contract. We completed successfully the audition for certification; and we are proud of to be the 3rd among the companies who has the local capital and 4th among all companies who obtain the Lift Directive 95/16/EC, Attachment XIII, H Module and TS-EN-ISO 1999:2000 Certificates, says, General Manager, Mehmet SARITARLA, expressing his feelings on this issue.
The validity of infrastructure and order comprehension which has been brought from the foundation date of the company to present has helped to be realized the certification procedures by little additions to the present system in a short period.
From 1985 To Present
STAR Asansor Insaat Taahhut Ticaret ve Sanayi Ltd. Sti. has been established in 1985 and has provided the service in the Lift sector and on the production, mounting and service areas as considering the satisfaction and security of its customers and - the most important thing - without making any concession from the quality from the establishment date to present.
As General Manager, Mehmet SARITARLA says;
We have paid the same attention for the machine room, space, cabin from our establishment date. We have adopted the opinion that all lift place should have the same order, cleanness and quality as of cabin s interior design. We provided the training for our staff with this opinion.
In 1998, we had used the first machine engine with planet gears by the project which we executed in Beyoglu, Istanbul in Turkey. We have mounted the lift in 30 different cities through Turkey and in all project, we kept the same quality understanding. When one considers the statistics of the works which we have executed, even though we have established the lift system at 32% of workplaces, 33% of hospitals and 35% of houses, we have not awarded the project of house buildings for the last 6 years. This is the reason why some firms offered the cheaper prices and use the unqualified materials in order to execute the cheap workmanship. I hope that the market conditions would be changed by the Lift Directive 95/16/EC which was issued on 15th February 2003 and that the firms would review their quality understandings.
Some of our references are the lifts of SSK Osmancik Hospital, Bursa Inegol State Hospital, TSK Ankara Girl Students Dormitory, General Directorate of Botas, Kizilbey and Yildirimbeyazit Tax Offices, SSK Konya Hospital, Hizan State Hospital and SSK Elbistan Hospital.
SSK Adapazari Hospital which is our last project, is an important project for us by its fire off full automatic doors and halogen free cables in the aspect of complying the Regulations on Protecting the Buildings Against Fire. Our target is to execute the larger projects in the future.
Organization Structure
STAR keeps continue its business through its Administrative and Financial department, Technical department, Service and Quality departments in order to provide and maintain the productive and efficient works in its organization.
The firm s employees, who follow the developing technology and regulations closely, work as a team.
All files of the lifts which have been constructed by STAR from 1985 to present are kept in the archive. The firm s employees, who adopted to be tidy at any stage of the project as a principle, believe that regular working environment which is provided in the office will also be reflected to the installation and maintenance.
STAR tries to find the best solution that may be recommended by examining the Standards, Lift Directive, Regulations on Protecting the Buildings Against Fire, Municipality Type Settlement Regulation which is Out of the Scope of Law, no. 3030 or Settlement Regulation of Metropolitan Municipality and offers the best solution to the customer.
Star, which knows that the lift should bears the minimum security conditions in order to protect the health, life and material, animal and plants, environment and consumer, works very carefully during the projecting, manufacturing, shipment, installation processes and service stage and considers the customer s satisfaction.
Lift and Service
Star, which pays a special attention to the service, has provided the insurance for all lifts and users which and whom it provides the maintenance and service since 2001. Star, which provides the maintenance and service to the lifts that are produced by it, provides the service through Turkey from its head office in Ankara.
General Manager, Mehmet SARITARLA says, Since we know the importance of our business in the aspect of life and material security in the service, preliminary, we provide the training to the person who responsible for the lift in the building or institution. We see the great benefits of this training. But it is the problem that the users of the lifts in hospitals are wide range and that they don t know how they use it. We remove these problems by providing the continuous service.
Viewing to the Future
Star, which carries out its works in its factories that are located at Ankara Ostim Ivedik Organize Sanayi, targets to carry out the works which improve the quality, to educate the staff who have the sufficient information on lifts and have training, to establish the branches abroad and execute the larger projects.
